As Colton entered the park, he gave the rock another kick and watched it fly through the air. Where did that rock go? he wondered. 👦🎒
Colton began searching everywhere for it. Finally, he found it tucked deep under a green bush. As he bent down to pick it up, his eyes widened.
"That's not my rock," Colton whispered. "It's a large, egg! It is white with bright blue spots!" 🥚💙

To keep the egg safe and warm, he tucked it under his bed pillow. For two whole weeks he carried it in his shirt pocket during the day and hid it under his pillow at night.
On the very last day of the two weeks, Colton took the mysterious egg out to his favorite grassy spot in the park. 🦖✨
