Colton's Time Machine: Interactive Story Adventure!

Time Machine - Part 2

Colton took his book, How to Build a Time Machine, went to the backyard and climbed up in the treehouse. He plopped down in an old green bean bag and began reading.
The interior of a wooden treehouse with tree branches coming through the window, a map of the United States pinned to the wall, a wooden table with rolled-up paper blueprints, a green bean bag chair, and a wooden ladder leading down.
After an hour, he laid the book down and looked around the treehouse. "I'm gonna build a time machine!" he said excitedly.
He pushed an old chair to the middle of the room and placed a stack of crates around it. Next, he headed to the garage to hunt for parts. He found electrical wire, tape, and several bent car antennas and tossed them into a bucket. Then he opened a cupboard. "Oh, boy! Look at all the square flashlight batteries!" He put them in the bucket and ran back to the treehouse and tied a rope to the handle and climbed up the ladder and into the treehouse then pulled up the bucket.
He then taped the antennas to the crates and then attached the electrical wire.

What does Colton realize he needs next to make the machine run?
