"Hey! Look!" Colton said as they and fell on the soft grass ground outside the Pennsylvania State House. "Today, this building is called Independence Hall!"
"This isn't very soft grass," Sparkle said, rubbing her tail.
"Where are we, exactly?" Bowie questioned, looking around the grand grounds.
"This is where the Declaration of Independence was adopted," Colton answered.
"Hey, look who's entering the building. It's Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson," Colton, said.
Colton jumped up and took off running toward the building with the dragons following. They ran up the steps to the huge door. Colton opened it just enough to peek inside.
Do you see anybody, Colton?” asked Bowie.
“No, not a soul,” Colton whispered.
Bowie then gave Colton a push inside the building. “Don’t shove me,” Colton frowned. He quickly grabbed hold of the dragon's tail.
"Hey! Let go!" Bowie demanded.
“Everyone, pay attention. We’re going to witness an important historical event, and
I expect all of you to be on your best behavior,” Colton said.
